1992 – Belvedere Restaurant at the Royal Łazienki Park
The name Belvedere comes from Italian and means “a beautiful view”. The restaurant is situated in the Royal Łazienki Park. People who live in Warsaw know it as one of the most beautiful places in the capital. For tourists, on the other hand, it is a place featuring cultural monuments that is a definite must-see.
1995 – Creation of Belvedere Catering by Design
The guests who visited our restaurant and were highly impressed with our food became increasingly interested in the possibility of having our exquisite dishes delivered outside Łazienki Królewskie. Thus, the idea of establishing a catering business was an answer to our guests needs.
1996 – Dinner for Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom
Official dinner given by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland in honour of Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom was the first event at state level the service for which was provided by Belvedere Catering by Design.
2002 – Lunch for His Majesty Emperor Akihito and Her Majesty Empress Michiko, the Emperor and the Empress of Japan, at the Łazienki Palace in the Royal Łazienki Park
The visit of His Majesty Emperor Akihito, the Emperor of Japan, and Her Majesty Empress Michiko, the Empress of Japan, was a great honour for our country. The government invited the Imperial Couple to an exquisite lunch served at the Łazienki Palace in the Royal Łazienki Park.
2005 – Dinner for King Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin during a state visit
Official dinner given in honour of the King of Malaysia Yang Di-Pertuan Agong XII Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Syed Putra Jamlullail and his wife.
2007 – Dinner for The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones visited our country during the tour promoting their 2005 album “A Bigger Bang”. We had the honour of serving dinner to this outstanding band.
2009 – Dinner at the highest political level
We provided our services during an informal NATO summit in Cracow in 2009.
2010 – Dinner – group draw for EURO 2012
We had the pleasure to organise an official gala dinner, which accompanied the group draw of teams for EURO 2012. At the dinner, we welcomed many high-profile personalities from the world of sport.
2012 – Dinner – inauguration of EURO 2012
The inauguration of the European Football Championship 2012 was also accompanied by an official gala dinner, and we had the privilege to organise it
2014 – The biggest dinner ever served in Poland – 2700 guests in Cracow
On 11 June 2014, Kraków Arena saw the creation of the first portable restaurant of this size in Poland. On an area of over 4,000 sq. m., we set up 250 round tables, each seating 12. We were the first restaurant in Poland to organise dinner on such a scale – in mere one and a half hours we served a 3-course dinner for 2700 people.
The Arabian Horse Days in Janów Podlaski
The Arabian Horse Days is one of the biggest Arabian horse promotional and trade events in the world. For a number of years, Belvedere Catering by Design catered for the events accompanying the auction. Belvedere’s Chefs cooked for buyers who arrived in Janów from all over the world. In the VIP section, we prepared a special menu for a large number of guests from Arabic countries, which we adapted to their specific culinary preferences. The list of Arabic cuisine dishes was created in consultation with specialists from all over the world, with special attention paid to the specific character of the Middle East cuisine.
2016 – NATO Summit 2016
Belvedere Catering by Design provided catering during two of the top level events during the 2016 NATO summit – a dinner for representatives of NATO member countries and representatives of the partner countries of the Alliance.
